BDCE has over 35 Qualifications registered across 8 SETAs. All of these can be done as straight qualifications or as Learnerships, depending on your BEE strategy and business needs. BDCE’s approach is based on adult education principles. Our training is characterized by interaction and participation as opposed to traditional theoretical courses. We customize our programmes to meet our clients’ specific training needs.

For classroom-based training, we provide competent facilitators and our QMS includes registered assessors and moderators. We work closely with our clients to ensure a competency-based approach. Since our training is needs-based, we prefer to do a skill needs analysis prior to training. Post-training follow-up and feedback to management regarding delegates’ development and progress are vital processes.

BDCE can extrapolate from the large array of accredited qualifications, a vast number of accredited short skills programs, each customized to meet the exact needs of our clients. Each skills program contains a number of NQF credits awarded by the relevant SETA which positions the learner for any future articulation into a number of full qualifications. BDCE has agreements with a number of professional bodies to endorse certain courses offered by BDCE. Though these courses are not formally accredited by an authorized quality assurance body, endorsements mean that the professional body underwrites the content and assessments associated with a specific course to the extent that it can be recommended to learners as valid and of the essence for that particular industry or profession.

Non-accredited courses are learning programme not recognised on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF related) nor connected to an external accreditation body. This is usually because the skill-set is so unique or the training content so cutting-edge that a Unit Standard has not been developed nor registered.

Therefore, non-accredited courses are extremely popular through their focus on equipping learners with a specific skillset and addressing immediate scarce and critical skills, BDCE offers a large array of such short courses.

BDCE has a MOU with a number of Professional Bodies and or Councils to offer Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses to assist professionals, including CESA, SARF, and SACNASP. CPD programmes are necessary for professionals to maintain their registration with their respective professional bodies and develop their knowledge in their respective professions.
